Gayln has lived in the Longview area since 1981. She attended high school and college in the area. She has watched her children grow in this community and graduate from Pine Tree, the baby graduating in May of 2010, before going on to their respective Universities. She is extremely appreciative of the lasting friendships she and her children have made here, which is why she loves helping people purchase homes and relocate to the Longview area. She is currently living in Diana where she enjoys the land with family, friends and best buddy, Mr. Winston, her German Shepherd. In her spare time she loves to run the land with Mr. Winston, cook, hike, travel, read, visit with family and friends and do just about anything outdoors.
She has been a Realtor in Longview and the surrounding areas since 2001. She has worked for two of the larger offices in the area and decided to open her own company in 2010 with a “family” feel. She believes a hand full of knowledgeable, exceptional agents can provide a better experience for the client. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Gayln worked as a Legal Assistant for many years. She brings her knowledge of this industry to the table with her real estate clients. She has obtained her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ePro (Internet Professional), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) designations over the course of her real estate career. Striving to remain current on real estate topics and issues allows her to be a more informed and educated advocate for her clients.

When I was young we traveled extensively around the United States due to my father’s career. My father retired from LeTourneau in 1971, and we settled down in Gladewater, Texas where I attended Union Grove ISD. I raised two children in the Pine Tree Independent School District. Currently I live in Hallsville, Texas. I have had the privilege of living in many places, Indiana, California, Wyoming, Michigan, Florida, Illinois and Canada, but I have always considered East Texas my home.
For 20 years I worked as a Legal Assistant. In 2006, I left the legal profession and became co- owner of an oilfield wireline service company, Slickline, LLC. My affiliations have been LLSA (Longview Legal Secretaries Association), NFIB (National Federation Independent Business), ABWA (American Business Women’s Association), NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants), ETALA (East Texas Association of Legal Assistants), and NNA (National Notary Association). I am now attending University of Houston online to obtain my real estate license while working as the office manager here at Synergy.
Over the years, I have attended Northside Baptist Church, Greggton United Methodist Church and I currently attend First United Methodist Church, Hallsville, TX.

Tammy Thrasher Mitchell is a long-term Longview resident and a fifth-generation East Texan. Tammy began her real estate career in the San Francisco Bay Area 12 years ago. She brought her experience and knowledge back to East Texas several years ago when she returned to be close to her family.
